Students watching presentation in multipurpose room

On Wednesday, January 24, 2018 Victoria students were visited by a group of students from Australia! This is an annual treat for our students to learn about life in Australia - and to find out some of the things that we share in common with our friends from down under. Special thanks to Linda Tenno for helping plan and coordinate this event each year!

Ms. Gordon's class was excited to attend a Bus Safety Presentation today. Special thanks to NMUSD's Transportation Department for coming out and helping our students learn what to do on a bus!

The students now know to stay 12 steps back from the bus, to wear their seatbelts and that the bus is not a place to have a dance party!

Thursday, October 19th at 10:19 a.m., Victoria staff and students participated in the California Shake Out. We practiced drop and cover, and how to safely evacuate the buildings. The staff also practiced search and rescue, utility shut-off, heath and safety, and hazardous materials containment among several other drills. We're ready... are you? Do you have a plan in place in the event of an emergency? Are your emergency contacts up-to-date in the Aeries Parent Portal? Are you curious about how you can prepare? Visit https://www.shakeout.org/california/ for more information!Dr. Peralta and staff in safety gear
